The two co-authors, Ned Johnson and Martin Trautschold, have collectively spent more than 10,000 hours with BlackBerries since 2001 selling, supporting, writing books, training people, providing customer service and writing documentation about BlackBerry Handhelds. Ned and Martin co-founded a BlackBerry Software company in the Fall of 2001 which became one of the earliest BlackBerry Alliance Member companies.
